How do I Know if i’m Being too Strict With Food?
Children who experience this restriction may feel deprived. When this happens, a child may become overly focused on food, especially the food that is being controlled, like sweets. The child may sneak or overeat these foods when the parent isn’t around. Although the intentions are good, parents who restrict access to unhealthy food may set their child up for worsening their eating habits and being focused on or obsessed with food.
