Is it oK to Give my Baby Nuts?

Nuts are considered a choking hazard up to age four. According to the latest research, however, it is acceptable to offer your baby nut products, such as nut butter, when he or she is able to eat finger foods and when it is offered in a manner that doesn’t increase the risk of choking. For example, spreading a thin layer of peanut butter on toast and cutting it up into small pieces your baby can mouth and swallow would be acceptable.
