My Child Hates Veggies but Loves Fruit. What Should I Do?
Fruit and vegetables offer similar nutrients, so you can achieve good nutrition with either. Offer fruit and vegetables with most main meals, and don’t sweat it if your child skips the vegetables. As long as he is eating fruit, he will be getting similar nutrients. Always make vegetables available so that he sees them, smells them, and has the opportunity to eat them if desired. It may take more time for your child to “learn” to like vegetables, so don’t give up on offering them as a regular part of mealtime.
