Can our Baby go in the tub or Shower With Us?
Yes! Your baby can bathe with you as soon as he or she starts getting regular baths and will probably enjoy it very much. But just like when bathing your baby on his or her own, bath safety is important. Remember to carefully check the water temperature and steer away from soaps or bubble baths as baby’s young skin is very sensitive. Make sure the surfaces are clean and slip-free so you don’t slip with a baby in your arms. And it should go without saying that you should never leave a baby unattended in a bathtub or even turn your back on your baby for a few seconds.
It might also help to take some commonsense precautions before it’s bathing time. Make sure you can easily get into and out of the tub with your baby and that the floor is slip-free. It may help to place a baby seat on the floor outside the shower or bath to place the baby in before you step out and dry off.
