Avoiding Period Cramps
Cramps during a period are incredibly common, but they are not spoken about nearly as often as they should be - to our physician, or to friends and family!
There are many natural ways to reduce cramps during your period:
- Massaging essential oils into or applying heat to your abdomen and lower back;
- Eating foods high in both vitamin B1 and magnesium, such as nuts and seeds;
- Drinking chamomile tea; and
- Eating less spicy food during your period.
