Avoiding Period Cramps


Cramps during a period are incredibly common, but they are not spoken about nearly as often as they should be - to our physician, or to friends and family!

There are many natural ways to reduce cramps during your period:

  • Massaging essential oils into or applying heat to your abdomen and lower back;
  • Eating foods high in both vitamin B1 and magnesium, such as nuts and seeds;
  • Drinking chamomile tea; and
  • Eating less spicy food during your period.
