Preparing for Labour: Kegel Exercises
Kegel exercises are exercises that will help strengthen your pelvic floor. They consist of repeatedly contracting and relaxing the muscles that form part of the pelvic floor – basically mimicking the act of holding your pee over and over again.
Kegel exercises are great for pregnant women to prepare their body for labour and delivery. They are also recommended from about 3 weeks after giving birth as they will help your body to recover from the strains of labour.
