Calories in a meal can look very different as they depend completely on the kind of food you are eating!

Each glass of a soft drink (such as Sprite or Coke) at a fast food restaurant clocks up 140 calories, most of which is from sugar. You would get the same amount of calories from a small potato. Bear in mind, even though potatoes are frowned upon (particularly when they are served deep fried as chips or wedges), they still can be a source of fibre and potassium.

Hence, pay attention to the quality of your meal, choosing fresh vegetables and fruits over processed food.
