Breastfeeding: Quantity of Milk
Staying hydrated is very important while breastfeeding - while breastfeeding moms should drink at least 8-10 glasses of water. While drinking more fluids does not increase the quantity of breastmilk, being less than optimally hydrated affects the quantity of breastmilk produced. One trick is to take a bottle of water with you while you breastfeed, attempting to finish it while your baby feeds. Click here
