Nabta Health was founded in 2017 by Sophie Smith and Dr. Mussaad Al-Razouki with the aim of building a new, woman-centric model of healthcare for women in emerging markets.
"I moved to the Middle East when I was expecting my first child. It immediately became apparent from interacting with the healthcare system, and from the statistics that were available to us, that women in emerging markets experienced worse health outcomes than in other parts of the world.
"We founded Nabta to address these gaps, and to improve health outcomes for women in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia. Women's health has been underserved for long enough - we're here to change that."
Our platform is designed to give women access to holistic healthcare, with virtual, remote, and in-clinic options.
