Your test results will show whether you are maintaining optimal levels of total cholesterol, HDL, LDL and triglycerides. Not only does this panel measure your cholesterol and lipids, it also includes other important biomarkers involved in evaluating the risk of heart disease. Knowing and taking steps to optimize your cholesterol and lipids, hs-CRP and homocysteine levels can help reduce your risk of heart disease and related conditions.
The biomarkers measured are as follows:
High levels of LDL (bad cholesterol) and triglycerides have been linked to an increased risk of a number of diseases, including heart disease, stroke, peripheral artery disease and atherosclerosis, high blood pressure (hypertension), and type 2 diabetes. High levels of LDL and triglycerides are characterised by a number of symptoms, both physical and mental.
Home testing allows you to book, test, review, and react all from the safety of your home. Whether you’re after privacy, autonomy or convenience, home testing caters for you.
