How soon can I try to get Pregnant After Having a Miscarriage?

Some women who have a miscarriage are told to wait to try to get pregnant again for a certain amount of time: some are told 3 months or 6 months, while others are told they can try to conceive right away.

If you had no complicating medical issues and there is no need for extended follow-up or recovery, then there is no reason you can’t try to conceive right after your miscarriage. You may want to wait for one menstrual cycle so that you can more accurately know when to try to conceive and how far along you are, but this is not a requirement. If your body is able to ovulate (as evidenced by a normal period), then your body is ready to start trying to get pregnant again. Keep in mind you should only try once you feel emotionally ready, which definitely varies from woman to woman.
