When can my Baby eat Eggs?
If your child is at low risk for an egg allergy, or any other food allergy, you may introduce cooked eggs between six and eight months of age or when your baby is developmentally ready to eat them.
Some families will start with baked goods containing eggs, like a pancake or a muffin, chopped up for baby to self-feed. Some will begin with a scrambled egg yolk first and work up to a whole cooked egg. If your baby is at risk for developing food allergies (has a first degree relative with food allergies), discuss the timing of introducing eggs with your doctor.
