This test measures over 15 key biomarkers associated with a healthy pregnancy.

During your pregnancy you'll be offered a blood test to find out your blood count (level of haemoglobin in your blood), blood group and Rhesus status. Everyone has a blood group. You’ll be Group O, A, B or AB and either Rhesus (RhD) positive or RhD negative. When you’re pregnant it’s important to know your blood group in case you or your baby need to have a blood transfusion, and so your OB/GYN knows if you and your baby have the same RhD blood group. Your blood group might be the same as your baby’s, but it can be different. If you have different blood groups it may mean you need extra care.

The biomarkers measured are as follows:

  • CBC plus Differential
  • Blood Group
  • RH
  • Subgroups
  • Kell
  • Indirect Coombs Test (ICT)
  • TPHA Test
  • HBsAG
  • HIV
  • Glucose (fasting)
  • Rubella IgG
  • Toxoplasma IgG
  • Urine Analysis

Plus these additional biomarkers for the Comprehensive test:

  • Rubella IgM
  • Toxoplasma IgM
  • Ferritin
  • Vitamin B12 (cobalamin)

This is a routine blood test that is not associated with any specific symptoms during pregnancy.

Home testing allows you to book, test, review, and react all from the safety of your home. Whether you're after privacy, autonomy or convenience, home testing caters for you.
