Download Press KitThe collaboration, formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding signed on April 7, 2025, commits both organizations to ensuring that every bathroom in every building in the UAE has access to Egal Pads products, addressing a critical yet often overlooked necessity in women's daily lives.
The initiative aims to revolutionize how women's health needs are addressed in public and private spaces throughout the UAE, setting a pioneering standard that both organizations hope will expand across the entire GCC region. Beyond improving access to menstrual products, the partnership will develop education campaigns to reduce period stigma and introduce innovative technologies that enhance women's health management.
A senior working group will be established to implement these initiatives, with a particular focus on reaching undeserved communities and educational institutions. The collaboration's first project will launch a pilot program to install Egal Pads dispensers in key locations across Dubai and Sharjah.
The initial agreement has a three-year term, with specific benchmarks to measure progress toward universal access to period products in the UAE and the broader goal of establishing the GCC as a women's health innovation center.
"At Nabta Health, we've always viewed access to period products as a fundamental healthcare right, not a luxury. This partnership with Egal Pads represents our shared vision to transform the GCC into a global leader in women's health innovation.”
